Spring Bucket List

With the first day of spring being just a few days ago, it is only fitting that we all get out of our stuffy homes and offices to smell the fresh, crisp air that spring has brought us! Although that fresh, crisp air may be filled with pollen that gives us all sneeze attacks, that is no excuse to not enjoy spring and all it has to offer!

Here are a few things that I’m looking forward to doing this spring!

  1. Picnic at least once before summer hits. Now, if you live on the west-coast like me, then you know that there are very few days of spring and the time for picnicking is NOW. With weather that jumps from 55 to 70, back down to 50 and right up to 85 in just a week or so, you have to choose your picnicking days very wisely… The first steps to picnicking are to check the weather and plan on wind blowing away your napkins or even some of your food; but it will be worth it!

  2. Try out a French café. I recently had the opportunity to discover a new French café right around my area. Although it was closed at the time, and I was only outside of it to take a few pictures for Instagram, my friend and I were surprisingly invited inside, only to discover how beautiful it was. Eating here is definitely a priority for this spring!

  3. Paint on my balcony at least once. This is a goal that I had during the winter but never got around to. Before I moved into my current apartment, one of the many things I loved about it was that there was a balcony attached to each room. Painting was supposed to be something to help me relieve my stress. However, I imagined myself painting on my balcony like an Italian renaissance artist…

  4. Apply to summer internships before it’s too late. Although most summer internship deadlines have                   passed already, there are till quite a few summer internships that are available. Interning is always a great           opportunity, especially for someone in my field of study.

  5. Spring Cleaning a.k.a. Getting rid of old clothes! Spring cleaning is something that many of us look                   forward to. It gives us a chance/excuse to clean out the kitchen, living room, our wardrobes, and any                   other place where we pile up things we no longer need. And with all that extra space in my closet, that                 brings me to my next goal…

  6. Go spring/summer shopping! New seasons call for new clothes, am I right? With the drastic change                   from winter to summer on the west-coast, you need to go shopping as soon as the weather gets up to 70             degrees again, because soon it will be too hot to even survive in leggings.

What are your spring goals and inspirations?
